Wanted:Big Hearts

Last Friday, a very unfortunate event happened in our little town, my beloved hometown Pangantucan Bukidnon. A fire transpired in our school, Pangantucan Central Elementary School. Our fire truck with complete crew headed by our Senior Fire Officer wasn’t able to stop the fire and being able to save the building and other things inside the classrooms because the classrooms were made of wood and light materials such as plywood when constructed and it causes the rapid spread of fire from one classroom to the other ones who are next to it.

The LGU, DepEd and other government agencies as well as some political party list were having a meeting as to what they can do to re-build our school buildings. This is their utmost priority.
As for me and my hometown mates, we are currently asking for donations and pledges for band instruments which were burned during the fire. Most of the band instruments were put in one classroom for safekeeping, nobody thought that this fortuitous event will happen which destroyed almost if not all of the band instruments owned by the school.

I am here, asking for some help from you my dear friends if you could spare a little amount of money in order to help my little town. Our town fiesta is fast approaching and as of now the band members (grade school pupils) have nothing to practice or play on. We need at least 10 lyres, 5 bass drums, and 3 triple drums. I have canvassed the price already and it is quite costly. As of now, I am only asking for you my dear friends to donate any amount of money and if ever we can come up with an amount big enough for at least one bass drum or triple drums we will sponsor one.
